Tom Sadler Invited to CEQ Meeting

July 31, 2010

As a conservation lobbyist, communications consultant and AFFTA Board member, Tom Sadler likes to combine his passion for fly-fishing and conservation wherever he can. For almost a year now Tom has been involved in saltwater angling policy discussions involving issues like catch shares, national oceans policy, coastal and marine spatial planning and the need for improved saltwater recreational data collection.

On Wednesday, July 28th, Tom has been invited by the influential Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ), (a division of the Executive Office of the President) to talk about the final report and activities of the new National Ocean Council.   Tom will report on that meeting in an upcoming article to AFFTA Connects.
