National FlyFishing in Schools Program

Update from Katie Cole regarding National FlyFishing in Schools Program (NFFSP.)  To briefly update you, since NFFSP’s inception a short year ago, the program has gained a great amount of interest.  "FlyFishing in Schools" continues to grow and expand into state after state throughout the country.  We’re excited about this progress and look forward to its further expansion.  

The FlyFishing Education Foundation (FFEF), the nonprofit parent to NFFSP, is working hard to raise funds to support your school/district/institution.  FFEF's immediate goal is to continue forming alliances with each state's fish and wildlife agency and gain their cooperation to provide matching funds to applicant schools. 

If you wish to implement "FlyFishing in Schools",  we will be better able to support you financially if you apply for the program.  Your application will allow the foundation to demonstrate your interest and that of other schools to your state agency, giving them incentive to provide matching funds for the 2010-11 school year.
