Jim Teeny Assumes Rod Distribution

It was almost 5 years ago that Jim Teeny agreed to design a series of rods for us that was specifically suited for casting integrated sinking lines. With a bit of help from Lefty Kreh, we prototyped, fished and finally introduced a family of 9 foot 4 piece and 10 foot 5 piece rods. While these rods were engineered to handle the unique demands of fishing a sinking line, the softer tip and powerful butt design is equally adept when loaded with a floating or intermediate line…they battle big fish with authority too.

Effectively immediately, TFO is appointing Jim Teeny, Inc. as the exclusive global distributor for his series of rods. For those of you who already fish them, TFO will continue to support the series, to handle warranties through complete transition and to manufacture Jim’s rods in our exclusive factory.
