Hardy's New Uniqua reel is available in 5 sizes with a retail price tag of $175 - $279.  From 2# - 12# ,these disc drag, machined barstock reels, large arbor fly reels were designed by Charlie Norris, Hardy’s lead reel designer in Alnwick.  According to Jim Murphy, Charlie has worked for on these reels for two years and every bit of Hardy's 150 years of reel making have gone into the new Uniqua.  This series has the most accessible retail pricing that Hardy has ever offered.

 

 

The most beloved light trout reels Hardy ever made are back.  Made entirely in Alnwick on machines and kit that date back to 1912, these barstock fly reels are the ultimate in click and pawl.  The reels are offered in annodized black and spitfire finishes and come in beautiful leather cases.  This edition of the Heritage Series comes right or left hand specific with agate line guides.  The "Junior" 2 9/16" model sells for $700 and the 3" sells for $750.  “These are reels that your grandchildren will fish, and thank you for it” said Murphy.
