AFFTA and ISE Announce 2011 Schedule Change

In first quarter 2011, AFFTA will sponsor “Discover Fly Fishing” areas in the two largest International Sportsmen’s Expositions (ISE), in Denver and Sacramento, CA.

“The Association receives money for every AFFTA member booking in these two ISE,” said AFFTA president Randi Swisher. “This change to sponsoring ISE Sacramento should improve our bottom line. We expect continued strong response from AFFTA members in the very successful ISE Denver, and new opportunities in the West’s largest sportsmen’s expo—ISE Sacramento,” said Swisher.

“This is our third year working with AFFTA as a sponsor,” said John Kirk, ISE’s Director of Communications. “The Discover Fly Fishing areas can be as large as 40,000 square feet, as in Denver, or considerably less than that size, which will be the case in ISE Sacramento, a five-building show. The entire ISE Sacramento sells out by early fall, so there is higher urgency for AFFTA members to get involved in our marketing plans. Participating exhibitors can expect more retail sales, more new and existing customers, and more media exposure, given the event’s market dominance,” Kirk said.

ISE Denver: Jan. 6-9, Colorado Convention Center

ISE Sacramento: Jan. 20-23, Cal Expo
