Chairman’s Message

Welcome to the website of the American Fly Fishing Trade Association, a resource dedicated to promoting the sustained growth of the fly fishing industry and to supporting AFFTA’s industry members.  We have designed the overall site layout, the navigational tools, and the content to collectively represent and promote the numerous benefits of being an AFFTA member.

Please take a moment to review the bios for each of the 15 AFFTA Board members to get an idea of the depth and level of experience they each bring to the table. This is a board that is made up of numerous representatives from different segments of the fly fishing industry, including retailers, manufacturers, sales representatives, media, and travel. Each board member volunteers and devotes a large amount of their time and financial resources in an effort to benefit everyone in our industry.  If you have an interest in becoming a member of the board, please contact the Chairman of our Nominating Committee, David Heller, or any member of the board that you may be familiar with.
